Will repellents get a house mouse out of the attic? (None works well)

It has been a debatable topic recently that if repellents can remove mice from your home or not. The research and studies answered it as NO. These repellents are not effective in removing mice from your home. There are certain reasons for it. These reasons are described below.

Shelter Range of Mouse:

The shelter range of a mouse is very small. They usually don’t like to change their birthplaces or any kind of areas where they are already settled. The reason for this is that they cannot bear the cold, and they are easily chased by their predators. Hence, they don’t care of the smell of repellents and they keep on staying to their origin and wait for the smell to vanish.

They are ineffective:

Another major reason for its failure is that they are ineffective. Their odor doesn’t bother mice at all. When your comfort level is not disturbed, you won’t switch your place just for fun. Since, mouse don’t have any issue with these ineffective repellents, they bother not to give it a piece of consideration.

Use of ultrasonic Mice Repellents:

One of the recent creativity in repellents was to use the ultrasonic repellents. This device emits sound waves which causes irritation to the mouse and it is assumed that they will move away by hearing sharp noises from these repellents. However, this strategy also failed to achieve the respective goal.

Continuous failure of Repellents:

Repellents like mothballs and peppermints are made for the ease of people. However, after researching through it, it was found that these products are not applied on mice.
